A calm, photo-led site for a Dhaka café: a rotating hero of dishes, the full menu, and a reservation flow that lets guests order ahead.

A loud, food-first site for a Dhaka smash-burger brand: the full menu with prices, four branches and table reservations, in English and Bangla.

The Backyard Chef

A bright, type-led site for a sushi and ramen spot with two Dhaka locations: three ways into the menu, platters you can pick through, and everything you need per branch.

A warm, hand-lettered site for a four-branch Dhaka restaurant: this month’s platter up front, one menu for every branch, and a branch finder.

Shang High

A loud purple site for a pan-Asian dumpling spot with four Dhaka locations: a searchable menu, suggested pairings, and live open-or-closed status per branch.

A quiet, evening-toned site for an Asian restaurant in Banani: the room, a searchable menu, and everything needed to plan a visit.

Brisket & Bistro

A dark, smoky site for a brisket and steak house in Dhanmondi: brisket sold by weight, a 114-item menu you can search, and a visit page that walks you to the door.

Some of these are concept builds made for practice, not commissioned work.
About
Dhaka, Bangladesh Local time ––:––
I’m Saalim, a front-end developer in Dhaka. I like websites with a point of view: big type, motion that explains something, and details you only notice the second time.
What I like building
Sites where the content is the show. Most of what I’ve built so far is for restaurants: menus you can actually search, branch finders, table reservations, and a couple that switch between English and Bangla.
How I work
Layout and type come first, and the page has to read well with every animation switched off. Motion goes in last, where it shows what changed or where to look. Then I test it on a phone before I call it done.
